...I'd like to point out how shit SL Benfica actually are these days. They have zero consistency, few prospects and will be lucky to come 3rd in the Portuguese Liga this year. But why? This side were once kings of Europe, albeit a long time ago, boasting household name Eusebio as the frontline of their onslaught. What has happened to reduce them to the miserly team that they are now? I've never seen SL Benfica play as badly as they have done these past couple of years and, not being a resident of Portugal, I can only wonder if there's any chance they will actually emerge from this demise.
