Sorry about the recent downtime at various points throughout the day and especially tonight.

The various outages throughout the day over the last couple of days was a result of the blog getting really popular really fast, we have almost seen a 66% increase in traffic over the world cup period and our server couldn’t really cope.

Tonight I had to bring the site down several times whilst I updated some of our code and cleaned out some stuff.  If you are reading this it means the site is back up fine and hopefully there should be no more issues.  If you experience any issues please let us know in the comments and we will address them immediately.

Also, whilst I am in looking at different things to do with the site please feel free to comment this post with suggestions on things we could do to improve the site (not necessarily the content, just the sections and layout etc etc).
