From today onwards, I’m going to have a few Internet connectivity issues as there’s things going on in my life that require a lot of my attention, regrettably. Therefore, although I can post updates for most days, chances are that I can’t respond to queries on the comments section of each update. I’ve therefore left my esteemed colleague Marz in charge of responding to queries on the site until I’m back in the saddle. Alternatively, you can email me at thefootytipster@gmail.com and I’ll get back to you when I can. Chances are that this will only be a problem for a short while but we’ll see.
Today’s featured game is the UEFA Europa League second leg between Zrinjski Mostar and Tobol Kostanai in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Both sides are quite experiecing in European football but Zrinjski bring the advantage to this game having achieved an invaluable 2-1 victory in Kazakhstan in the first leg, which naturally means that the visitors need to attack in this game, possibly leaving them exposed at the back.
Bosnia-Herzegovina is not amongst the atypical list of “places to go before you die” because it’s a rather hostile environment. However, that environment helps create a strong level of support for the home side in games like this, which is precisely why only a very well-organised Sporting Braga have won here in the last three years of European football. Bosnian sides are traditionally very strong at home but poor away, which is why I was surprised that Zrinjski won at Tobol in the first round despite their quality advantange. Zrinjski have won at least 70% of their home games domestically for six consecutive seasons, which should tell you that they’re damn strong at home. They’ve worked their way into being one of the top dogs in Bosnia through constant effort and consistency and they’re now a side that commands respect in their own league. They’re no world-beaters but underestimating them at home is a foolish thing to do at the best of times. The hosts overcame Slovan Bratislava of Slovakia here last season without conceding so they’re no strangers to facing tricky opponents.
Visitors Tobol Kostanai have taken great strides on the European stage over the past few years and are still yet to establish themselves as a threat, realistically. They’re a tough opponent to face in Kazakhstan as both Galatasaray of Turkey and Austria Vienna of Austria have discovered over the past two years. However, it’s worth noting that the Kazakh visitors have lost every away game that they’ve ever played in European football, a record stretching back to 2006, losing to Basel, Groclin, Austria Vienna, and Galatasaray and respectively having scored just once during all four away games. Kazakh sides don’t have the experience or ability to take on the difficult away games and the trip to Mostar is most certainly a difficult trip. Look at the experience of Tobol outside of Kazakhstan – only five of their players aren’t from Kazakhstan! There’s very little experience there, although I’m mildly amused to see that this is where ex-Dinamo Minsk reject Dmitry Parkhachev ended up – yet another striker of their academy that had pace but nothing else!
Either way here – you have to favour the hosts. With the first leg advantage under their belts, I have to favour Zrinjski to finish the game off today on familiar territory with a poor travelling side that has to attack them today at generous odds of 21/20.
Verdict: Zrinjski Mostar to win at 21/20.
Thursday’s Picks
My tips:
As ever, below are my recommended value tips for today in no particular order:
Banants Yerevan vs Anorthosis Famagusta – lay Anorthosis Famagusta at 23/20.
I’ll admit to underestimating the Cypriot side in their opening game of this tournament. I didn’t think they were as efficient as they were so fair play to them. However, as a result, their 3-0 win means that this game is fairly redundant for them so I can’t see them going all out to win this one. Anorthosis’ most redeeming feature is keeping opponents out, which is why the first leg result surprised me so much. Anorthosis have won just once in their last seven away games in European football and that win was at Kaerjeng in Luxembourg – not the most flattering of records, I’m sure you’ll agree. They’ve got a solid side but they’ve no reason to win this game today so why they’re at such short odds is beyond me. Banants aren’t a great side but they’re experienced in European football and should be able to grind out at least a draw in this game to earn themselves some respect against a low-scoring but superior opponent. Although this selection is far from a definite win, the odds still make it worthy of a punt.
Verdict: Lay Anorthosis Famagusta at 23/20.
Sliema Wanderers vs Sibenik - under 2.5 goals at 23/20.
Nobody here is going to deny that Sibenik are a better team than Sliema Wanderers but to suggest that Sibenik have earned odds of 1/3 is ludicrous. They’ve done nothing to earn those odds, in my eyes.
As one of our Croatian friends pointed out last week – Sibenik have sold their best striker and couldn’t break the resilience of Sliema in Croatia – why would they be able to do it away from home? I’m not confident enough in Sliema’s ability to lay the visitors, although they odds make it look tempting! Chances are that Sibenik can steal a goal here but I’d be surprised to see them score more than two goals here. Sliema are solid defensively and experienced in Europe so they’ll be well-prepared for this game. They’re not a particularly good side but taking Sibenik to extra time and penalties would be the equivilant of winning the trophy for them so don’t write off the hosts here.
I’m anticipating another droll encounter with few goals between these two defensive sides. I don’t really care who wins as there’s no value either way here, barring Sliema +2.75 on the handicap perhaps, but the odds are pretty poor. However, yet again, I really like the look of under 2.5 goals for obvious reasons so that’s my tip for this game today.
Verdict: Under 2.5 goals at 23/20.
Skonto Riga vs Portadown – lay Skonto Riga at 13/5.
How on earth are Skonto Riga 2/9 to win this game?! This smarts of yet another bookie trap to me! Sure, they’re from another country that most people can’t find on a map but that doesn’t make them a better football side. I saw a lot of people backing Skonto away at Portadown last match and I just wondered why – nothing supported that bet, in my humble opinion, and little does tonight. I’ll accept that Skonto are marginally the better side and have plenty of European experience but there’s very little difference between this league and the Northern Irish league, I assure you! One thing that I always find is massively overlooked in European competition is the tenacity of both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland sides. I cannot put my finger on just why it is but those side are nearly impossible to beat! Derry City showed us the same thing last season by drawing here in Riga with Skonto and beating them at home, thus eliminating the Latvians. Portadown aren’t as good as Derry were back then and they’re new to the competition, admittedly, but why on earth Skonto are such heavy favourites is absolutely beyond me. They’ve not won in seven European games consecutively despite facing Derry City, Dinamo Minsk, and Molde – not the most formidable list of opponents, I’m sure you’ll agree. The last side Skonto beat in Europe was Jeunesse d’Esch of Luxembourg so if you want to back Skonto at shocking odds of 2/9 then be my guest. Who knows – maybe they’ll do you proud! My money is on laying the hosts today, however, because there’s more value in it by some distance as the tenacity of all Irish sides in Europe has been very visible indeed in Europe for some years now.
Verdict: Lay Skonto Riga at 13/5.
Gyori ETO FC vs FC Nitra – home win at 3/4.
It’s interesting to see that the bookies have now changed their minds about FC Nitra being the better of these two sides having seen their opening game in European football end in a fortunate 2-2 draw against Gyor in the first leg. Gyor are really worthy of shorter odds here so I’m happy to take them at 3/4. Unlike Nitra, Gyor have experience in European football and made a good account of themselves during their last foray into Europe. Gyor are a traditionally strong home side domestically and will look to take that form into Europe. Gyor have actually gone unbeaten in two out of their last three Soproni Liga campaigns at home so don’t underestimate them here. Indeed, they’ve lost three games per two of their last four seasons at home and finished mid-table and just above the relegation zone in those two seasons respectively with their home form being their only saviour. They don’t score that many at home but they’re so solid defensively that they don’t need to. You’re a braver man than I am if you go against the Hungarian hosts today, particularly with former Spartak Moscow striker Tarmo Kink in such delightful form at the moment!
Visitors Nitra don’t travel too well domestically as it is so why they’d start travelling well during their maiden voyage into European football is beyond me. I admire their attacking football but European football is all about tactics and tactics is something that Nitra often lack. Nitra lost just less than half of their away games in the Corgon Liga last season, which should tell you that they’re not ready to be successful in Europe. It’ll take time; it always does. Nitra’s free-flowing attacking football suffers more than most do away from home in Slovakia, however, because their defence is somewhat inept so they end up conceding a lot and not taking as many of their chances as they should. I appreciate that this game is in Europe but you can take a lot of information from a side’s domestic form and I think Nitra’s is key here – they’re simply not good enough.
3/4 isn’t the best set of odds you’ll ever see but I think they could easily have been shorter so I think it’s decent value to take the home win today.
Verdict: Gyori ETO FC to win at 3/4.
Gefle vs NSI Runavik – under 2.5 goals at 31/20.
I recommended backing NSI Runavik with a +1.75 goal handicap in the first leg between these two sides and we were desperately unlucky with Gefle winning 2-0 purely due to Faroese error in what was actually a very even game. In the two games in this competition thus far between Swedish and Faroese opposition, it has become very apparent indeed that the gap is closing between Faroe Islands and the rest of Scandinavia, which is something I’ve highlighted for a little while now. I don’t expect the likes of NSI Runavik to win this type of game, for instance, but I think they’ll make life very hard for physical Gefle tonight and don’t feel that there’s any value in backing the hosts as a result. Gefle are a resolute and well-organised side but don’t score many goals as a rule. I expect them to approach this game with their typical defensive line-up and perhaps steal a goal or two to put the tie to bed. I’m a tad concerned because NSI Runavik are scoring goals for fun in the Meistaradeildin at the moment and a single goal for the visitors here today would rupture this bet horribly. However, I think it’s worthwhile to take under 2.5 goals as Gefle have held strong against better attacks than that of minnows NSI Runavik so logically, taking under 2.5 goals in this game would be the best approach in my opinion, particularly at such generous odds.
Verdict: Under 2.5 goals at 31/20.
Port Talbot Town vs TPS Turku – away win at 4/5.
I can’t write much here other than “quality difference”. A fairly impotent TPS Turku rammed three goals past Port Talbot Town in the first leg of this encounter and although they suffered a couple of injuries in that game and have faced Veikkausliiga giants HJK Helsinki since then, you still have to favour the visitors. Welsh football has progressed slightly, in my opinion, but Port Talbot Town are not one of the sides that I rate as the better sides in the Welsh Premier League. I recall Bangor City facing FC Honka Espoo last season and being completely outplayed in both legs with the 3-0 aggregate scoreline drastically flattering the Welsh side. I expect something similar today. Even though TPS Turku don’t need to do anything here, Port Talbot do and the experience of TPS Turku will be pivotal here as a result. I expect Port Talbot to attack to try and build on their single away goal but to get caught out often by an able TPS Turku. The odds should really be closer to 8/13 and wheras I appreciate the risk factor involved with TPS winning this game with no real reason to do so, I feel the odds are worthwhile due to the severe gap in quality between the two sides.
Verdict: TPS Turku to win at 4/5.
Glentoran vs KR Rekyjavik – away win at 6/4.
This bet follows the same route as my initial bet did a week ago where KR Reykjavik comfortably won 3-0. Glentoran’s problems are still very much apparent (to my knowledge) with their manager having left, their best player having moved on, and some absences with injuries/holidays. Even with some of those issues resolved, Glentoran still cannot possibly hope to upset the balance here with such a lot going against them. They’re a good side and as I mentioned earlier in another preview – never underestimate the tenacity of any Irish side. However, the fact is that they have to leave the comforts of their defence to attack their superior Icelandic opponents today and that could prove to be disastrous for the hosts. KR exploited Glentoran easily in the first leg with their towering strikers and comfortable passing and I expect more of the same tonight. KR may opt for a more counter-attacking style but either way, I expect them to do damage to an under-strength and out-of-practice Glentoran side today. KR Reykjavik love playing in Europe – they tend to have good results on a consistent basis as both Larissa of Greece and Basel of Switzerland can testify from last year’s campaign alone. KR are having a mixed Urvasldeild campaign but they’re still good enough to outclass their opponents today with so much going against Glentoran. There’s obviously a risk factor here because KR Reykjavik don’t have to do anything here but the opportunity to back them at such generous odds of 6/4 to beat an inferior side in any circumstance is certainly worthy of a punt.
Verdict: KR Reykjavik to win at 6/4.
Accumulator fodder:
Randers, Rabotnicki Skopje, Mogren Budva, Zestaponi, Valur Reykjavik, Liepajas Metalurgs, FK Ventspils, Tampines Rovers.
Recommended bets:
Randers, Gyori ETO FC, Rabotnicki Skopje, and Zestaponi at 3/1.
KR Reykjavik, Mogren Budva, and Zrinjski Mostar at 4/1.

I’ll try my best to help with your questions, everyone is welcome to help out.
Tampines v Sengkang Punggol
This one is a no brainer so ill keep it brief.
Tampines will take this opportunity to claim second spot after a poor start to the season. In their last 5 home games they have scored 17 goals. In Sengkangs last 5 away games, Sengkang have scored 2 goals. Sengkang have always been the weakest team in the s league, fortunately for them it is impossible to get relegated. Tampines should crush them and i expect tampines to win all their remaining games of the season..
I would be very surprised if tampines dont break the 2 goal handicap here. Tampines -1.5 can be grabbed at evens and its pretty safe.
Tampines -2.5
Tampines 3-0 correct score
Beijing Guoan v Young Lions
Young Lions have improved alot under Sundramoorthy, they dont leak as many goals as they used to and they are in a good position for a top 5 finish, much better than 9th last season. Both sides seem to have lost momentum as the season progressed, but i feel that beijings season has truly ended and the lions still have some fight in them.
Young lions @ 2.30
Any ideas why Bet365 aren’t offering any of these games??
Prices should be out later. Sometimes on busy days they dont cover the s league but they should do tomorrow.
Other books have it up now.
Good call on Tampines there Marz. Thanks!
Cheers for your picks Ian and hope everything gets sorted soon.
Gd morning everyone!:) Does anyone have any decent club friendly handicap tips???or any obvious handicap tips for matches on today???
Try to stick with the big teams who usually have quality depth and youngsters, Lyon won 3-1 and PSV 4-1 the other day.
I’m having a punt on
Bath City (semi-pro) v Cardiff (Championship)
Forfar (Div 2) v Motherwell (SPL)
Does anyone know how the ‘winning margin’ market differs to ‘asian handicap’ as the odds to win by 1 is huge @3.75 for Randers in comparison to -1@1.72 for asian handicap???
They’re two completely different bets, win by 1 means the score must be 1-0, 2-1, 3-2, 4-3 etc (1 goal difference). Randers -1 means they must win by MINIMUM of 2. eg 2-0,3-1,4-1,4-2,5-0, etc. If they win by 1, 1-0, 2-1, etc you get a refund. If It’s a draw/randers lose, you lose your stake.
ste got it spot on
oh right, so Randers can only win by 1 goal if they win. Get it! Thanks mate!:)
aye, hence it’s a risky bet hence good odds and I’d leave it well alone xD Go for the -1 AH
Hey,
Will post some team information about FC Flora. Their coach sent three of their key players – Stanislav Pedõk, Nikolai Mašitšev and Sergei Mošnikov to the second team, because of some disciplinary problems. Pedõk lost his first keeper status earlier to Marko Meerits (18 years old), but he was injured during their 1 leg away match, don’t know yet if he will play today or not. The other two were key players for midfield, especially Mošnikov (U-21 squad).
Don’t know how this will affect their game yet, but more than a tie from this game would be a surprise. Earlier I was confident that they could steal a narrow win somehow, but not anymore.
Good luck!
So draw no bet to Dynamo Tbilisi sounds good @ 1.66 ? :P
Big treble today Dundalk randers and bnei yehuda (again) just over evens and I would be looking between £700 -£1000 will decide when I get there and maybe fh later if this comes in good luck all
If i were you, i wouldnt bet on FH, they cant defend for shit at the moment!!
Its your decision, so good luck ;)
FH???
FH Hafnarfjordur @ above.
Must agree marz, Fram unbeaten in 5.
Infact, the fram odds to me look a small value bet… Will see how rest of day goes first.
NK Zeljeznicar left Sead Bucan, Samir Bekri? (the most important players of the club) and Petar Simic! New players who have come to the club are: Zajko Zeba (Alania Russia), Srdjan Savic (Star Gradacac), Elvis Karic (Star Grada?ac), Goran Gan?ev (Peliester Macedonia)! The club has big financial problems. Playing at home, home field and fanatical supporters are enough to overcome weak Tobol! Of course, among the new players who recently came to the club, there are good players who will give their best in this game.
I’m thinking about Randers -1(AH), Rabotnicki Skopje -1(H), Mogren Budva -2(H). FC Zestafoni -1 (H), Tampine Rovers -1(AH)@15.03
Anyone got any thoughts or additions for my accumulator?
Individually I’d say they look good. Collectively, one will let you down and it’ll be the one that kicks off last just to make you feel even more shit :D
I think its a good looking bet mate, But ive got to agree with Ste on this… Maybe take one team out and lessen the odds, You’ll have a better chance of it winning.
thanks for your thoughts guys. which one you think i should take out, or do you maybe hav a better tip in place of a team to take out???
Thats the thing though mate they all look good! I couldnt tell you that one.
I have a horse tip, from dailynaps.co.uk, Newmarket @14.00, the horse name is Elzaam, and I think it’s a banker,even if he’s a little short, only 6/4.
Been hammered down into 1.6′s already :| Never worth backing a horse that low
I don’t like these odds neither, but I posted it because it looks like a “sure” one. But as you know, in betting ,there’s no sure thing
Randers -1, KR and TPS Turku @ 5.5/1 @ Bet365.
Opinions are welcome.
sexy
I hope your talking about the bet Marz!
do you want me to be talking about the bet ;)
Marz, any recommended treble for today
what kinda odds u looking for
KR Reykjavik, Mogren Budva, and Zrinjski Mostar at 4/1.
whatever odds…1/1…2/1….3/1…but at the end win of course.
I’ve been quite lucky with your recommendations those past times, except for Etoile.
Yeah, etoile screwed me over but what-to-do.
personally im going for
tampines -1.5
randers -1.5
FH v FRAM (both sides to score)
a good price and a good chance of it winning
Thx Phil…but no so sure for Zrinjski Mostar.
Tell me what you think guys, though it’s quite favourite ones:
Bnei Yehuda—Dundalk—Randers.
Kalmar—Valur Reykjavik–Metalurg Liepaja
Dnepr Mogilev–Zestafoni–Gyor Eto.
Half time wins: Dundalk–Zalaegerszeg–Bnei Yehuda
Half time draws: Flora Tallinn–Port Talbot–Glentoran
Right what to do, what to do…. I really want to go big today and end the season on a high… Although this could of course go horribly wrong. At the moment I like the look of:
KR, Tampines -1 Handicap (not AH as B365 aren’t offering it), Randers -1 Handicap, Banants Double Chance
This of course has way too big odds to go big on, so need to narrow it down i guess.
Also I fear Tampines on the -1 handicap, just because Etoile screwed me last time. Marz you’re confident though right?
Well, to be very honest with you tampines could lose and i would feel fine because i know i backed the value.
In football you have to look for the value, not the teams you think will win, because the value is what makes you a profit in the long run.
If this was like the epl, (a league with alot of bettors and people backing the big 4 at ANY price), tampines would be priced around 1.10.
I’m very happy taking a -1.5 handicap at evens, sengkang have always been the shittiest team in the league, sure teams like belastier khalsa and woodlands are equally shitty, but these 2 teams can at least beat a strong team on their day.
Ryan you should go to soccerway and check out the stats and see if its worth a backing, its your money at the end of the day XD
As much as i dont like to discourage people from their bets, if i were going big i would take KR at DnB and banants with a larger handicap, maybe 1.5.
To be honest i would stay the fuck away from banants lol, its your money so follow your instincts.
Something to note is Tampines have beaten the other 2 teams at the bottom of the league at home recently with an excellent margin. However, from the stats, it appears that their opponents are clearly able to motivate themselves away from home even though they are bottom.
Oh dude don’t think I was critecising your last Etoile pick.. I checked Soccerway for the Etoile game and fully agreed with you. I was so confident having seen they don’t normally concede at home that I even backed them to win to nil.
I’ve checked Soccerway again and fully agree that Tampines should batter the shit out of em… Just a bit more sketchy as I’m thinking about increasing the stakes today as mentioned above.
haha, i know ryan, its cool.
to be honest with you, big stakes on tampines is worth it.
games like this only come by every once in a while.
the s league is always value because the bookies take a smaller house advantage, due to the smaller amount of people who stake in this league.
i should learn to start my sentences with capital letters.
and how many times have i said ” to be honest with you ”
i should be called honest marz
Haha ok cool glad we got that straight. Ok I agree with you again, just trying to work out now whether to back them just to win, or on the -1 handicap (not asian) or to win to nil, or half time/ full time.
a “regular” -1 handicap is the same as an asian -1.5 handicap i assume thats what u mean.
im backing -1.5 personally, i handicapped saff yesterday -2.5 and made a packet.
for the best value i’d actually recommend a -2.5 handicap because they really should plough sengkang.
Half-time draws Marz??
Spartak Nalchk vs Terek Grozny
Att least 3 Marzy.. come on
haha, anything for you babe ;)
im not so confident of half time draws today but i’ll try and give u 2 more
IBV Vestmannaeyjar vs Keflavik
Tauras Taurage vs Llanelli
Hey Melissa, do you have alot of success with half-time draw market. Is it profitable for you?
Marz mate what you reckon? Tampines ht/ft or on the (-1) handicap? Both are priced @1.8
-1 on the handicap, thats what i went with. tampines are slow to score so if its 0-0 at half time it will end 2-0, if they score early then say a prayer for sengkang because it will not end well.
Sorry guys! I see that I mixed two games, two different teams. FK Željezni?ar have nothing to do with the Tobol!!:) so please ignore this Information, but I know that FC Zrinjski has similar problems so.. be careful
Credit to Sergeant Wilson of PL:
Huge injury crisis for FK Zeta Golubovci 7 of the team that started the first leg in Montenagro last week will not start tonight. The 3rd choice goalkeeper is just 17 years old and only has made 2 first team starts. The assistant coach Vlahovic who is over 40 years old and retired in 2003 will also start upfront.
Thought this info needed to be shared.
Sure about this info mate?
Not 100% yet, just doing my own research now.
I have been told by someone else now that this info is false. Not sure who to trust, so disregard this info.
It’s quite risky Nimesh but a lot profitable.
Yesterday won on 3 half time draws–9/1.
Marzy, I just came back from the local bookie…Bet HEAVY on Tampines….let’s crossed our fingers.
yeah, did you take them straight or on the handicap?
I went on straight can’t play on handicap…why?
Just curious, your pretty safe then, i really cant see them not winning this.
cool. what you gonna go for today then?
Ajax v Al Ahly – has anyone got any knowledge to why ajax’s price is so good@home?
i was just thinking the same thing…….
al ahly arent that bad basically, a bet i really like is over 2.5 goals and both sides to score.
Ajax are missing a ton of players due to WC… Will probs go over 2.5 though.
Marz what you reckon:
Tampines (-1), Randers (-1), KR DNB @ 4.71
its my kinda treble
Haha fingers crossed mate! Good luck to all.
I think Marz got it spot on IBV Vestmannaeyjar H-T Draw, I’ll add Metalurg Skopje and Flora Tallinn
thank ian, he is predicting an overall 1-1 and i think that is quite sensible.
yeh am gonna do that too if i can’t find any info on ajax
thanks melissa, i’ll give it a go too!:) do you ever put them in an accumulator?
Yeah it’s fuckin risky BUT if you manaded to get in….Bloody hell it’s like 5000-10000quid
Yeah it’s fuckin risky BUT if you managed to get in….Bloody hell it’s like 5000-10000quid
On Bet365 i can only get say for Randers a -1.5 and there is no option for just -1,
what sites do you lads use that offer additional Asian Handicap markets for these matches?
Ladbrokes don’t even offer any markets xD Just go for -1.5, it’ll win :)
Guess, that’s all we can bet on then mate hope it wins
ste is spot on again
May as well stick that on copy/paste marz ;)
haha yes!!
Anyone have any thought on these games?
Hartberg v Leoben DSV
FK Austria Vienna v Levski Sofia
Forfar v Motherwell
Apoel Nicosia v AEL Limassol
Banik Ostrava v Dukla Banska Bystrica
Motherwell might be a good idea, don’t know about the rest..
Quid? … Calmar ? … OCTOPUS ?!
Keel slimy octopus, it ztole my moneh!!!
Anyone reckon Rabotnicki,Randers, Zestafoni @2.10 are 90% safe?
Thoughts on this treble @ 4.15
Hannover 96 @ 1.72
TPS @ 1.80
Randers @ 1.33
my tampines -1 handicap is safe so far. lets hope it stays that way.
Maerzellous…….tampines up 2-0
tampines 3-0
good work guys, hope u all made a packet ;)
interesting bit of info
“Glentoran players unpaid for weeks by Oval club”

Marz tell me what you think, though it’s quite favourite ones:
Bnei Yehuda—Dundalk—Randers.
Kalmar—Valur Reykjavik–Metalurg Liepaja
Dnepr Mogilev–Zestafoni–Gyor Eto.
Half time wins: Dundalk–Zalaegerszeg–Bnei Yehuda
Half time draws: Flora Tallinn–Port Talbot–Glentoran
I’d rather go for
randers – valur – zestafoni – dnepr mogilev
remember kalmar struggled last time out, this time they are away so it may be even tougher.
the half time draws look ok, i can see dundalk and bnei yehuda being held till half time so maybe be careful there.
Marz fuckin brilliant tipping with Tampines mate! Well done. Fingers crossed for the games later.
cheers
Sparta Prague vs Plzen for the Czech SuperCup
Sparta Prague won the league without a single loss last season. They conceded only 14 goals in 30 games.
Should be an easy win for Sparta Prgue!
This game is being played on Sparta’s home ground.
However Plzen drew twice here…
Sparta got one red card!! things aint looking good here! LOL
great tip on tampines marz. any opinion on Rabotnicki mate? i was thinking about handicapping them but there’s been no mention of them above in any comments.
Well ian recommends a -1.75, should be ok considering such a huge gap in quality.
Took them in one of my today accas, Ian also feels very confident about them and recommends to handicap :)
ah yeah, i’ll have a go so fellas. ty for the responses.
Does 5/4 on draw no bet for Real Salt Lake seem like really good value to anyone else considering Chicago Fire’s home form has been 2 home wins in the last 3 months and Real Salt Lake come off the back of a 9 game unbeaten streak?

Randers has already published their starting eleven for the game.
Three minor changes compared to the first leg. Armenian international Arzumanyan for Karlsen in the defensive midfield. Former Ghana international Issah Ahmed for youngster Fenger, and finally comeback for the regular left back Søren Jensen, which places Fischer on the left midfield.
Still a very strong lineup, which should me more than enough to outplay their opponents.
Pretty young substitutes though, but they will only come in handy in the second half, when Dudelange has to be finished off properly.
Anybody think AJAX will win with ease today?
Tempted to take HT/FT @odds 2.22
let me know what you think?
:-D
From Iceland!
Do Haukar need to swim the ice-cold Atlantic ocean after the Valur game?
Haukar has not yet gotten their first victory in the Urvalsdeildin this summer and sitting at the bottom after having won the right to play in the Urvalsdeild last year. They have only got five points in the first ten games by drawing in half of them
The result of course has not been the expectations of players and coaches who responded before the ninth round to make a bet. On it was agreed that if Haukar got six points from the next three games, against Fram, Fylki and Val, the team coaches would have to swim a certain distance in ice-cold Atlantic ocean. If the players could not get the six points then, however, they would have to take the swim.
Now it is clear that the goal will not be achieved because it has only got two points from the games at Front and Fylkir. However, all night is not out the players and the coach have “doubled” the bet. If the team wins against Valur tonight the player will be released of the punishment. Otherwise, they receive an additional penalty which has not been determined.
——————-
other things: Haukar do not have their own home ground so they play their home matches at the same venue Valur does. So both team play their home game on the same pitch. Haukur could snap this one. Also I have heard that in middle of Jule when the players window opens Haukar will sign 3 foreign players, which the coach has said are really good players.
I will send you updates of the transfers here in Iceland later, when it will be relived, Selfoss is trying to get 2 new signings and Grindavik is getting Olafur Orn Bjarnasonn from Brann in Norway later this month.
very good info, thanks
went for 2 accum
kr reykjavik & siroki brijeg
TPS & zrinjski mostar
kinda weary with the qualifiers as teams still in preseason mode but heres hoping
does anyone know what kinda lineup ajax is fielding against al ahly? could be some tasty in play odds here, almost hitting evens.
Oh no Randers :( Come on guys please play properly and smash em..
they will smash em 2nd half dont worry
Randers losing! :( thankfully i made bet on over 2.5 goals so that will have covered my loss on this game!
Got a bad feeling on the Randers game…the home team is dominating they got 6 corners and Randers seems disinterested in winning the game.
Maybe 1-2 Ft…if Randers want to play or else it may finished 1-1.
